About the "Hell's Kitchen" Stage Show

Hell's Kitchen is an innovative new musical that tells a modern and profoundly intimate Broadway story. The 16-time Grammy Award-winning Alicia Keys debuts as a musical dramatist and captures the story inspired by her own life in the city as a young girl, bringing alive the 1990s. Hell's Kitchen is ultimately a coming-of-age story in which Ali, a mischievous little girl, has problems defining herself while living under the watchful gaze of an overprotective single mother. The plot twists when Ali makes a new friend among the neighbors, who exposes her to a new world of music through the piano. For Ali, this mentorship opens up a brand-new world in which she comes across what her purpose in life is and a community that supports her on the road she takes. The story of Hell's Kitchen turns not only into the love affair between mother and daughter but also into a powerful self-discovery and journey to dreams in this city that never sleeps.
